March 28, 2012

BootstrapLabs, a Redwood City and San Francisco based business lab and accelerator has announced it’s to add Stockholm-based knowledge market Mancx to the stable of second stage startups it’s to bring on in the US.

BootstapLabs aim is to get promising prospects to the next level.  It’s assembled a group of top Silicon Valley investors to provide mentoring.  As Bootstraplabs explains: “We don’t “help companies to get funded”, but making sure the company get’s funded to execute is one component of many for us.”

Mancx co-founder Henrik Dillman says the deal marks a major step forward for Mancx.  “We’re thrilled to be teaming up with BootstrapLabs and Nicolai Wadström. Nicolai has been instrumental for several companies. Two of them are favorites of ours: Zerply and Prezi,” says Dillman.

BootstrapLabs will support Mancx in establishing the business in the U.S and connect Mancx with the Silicon Valley network.  “We know the valley crowd is keen on trying new services and a number of San Francisco companies are likely to be among our future partners,” Dillman says.

Mancx is establishing an office in San Francisco co-sited with BootstrapLabs at Rocketspace 181, Fremont Street.  It’s to be headed up by Mattias Guilotte, Mancx’s co-founder and head of marketing.

“With Mancx’s technology and BL’s knowledge of the Silicon Valley scene, we’re very excited about the next phase of life building a knowledge market for the world,” says Guilotte.
