Zammuto learns to ChaCha
February 15, 2012Mobile Q&A specialist ChaCha has a new COO. Michael Zammuto has a background in start-ups including the RFID tech company Sapago, which he founded. Zammuto also played key roles at Microsoft and at Ontario Systems where he was Vice President and COO.
“Mike’s impressive background and leadership skills are a great addition to the company,” ChaCha’s co-founder and CEO Scott A. Jones said in a statement. “ChaCha is constantly expanding and progressing with innovative ideas and services for our users. Having Mike on the team will further enhance our reputation as leaders in the industry.”
ChaCha has carved out a niche amongst younger mobile users who use the QA service in tandem with entertainment TV in order to get background on music and movie stars or participants in reality shows.
“My interest in mobile and media made ChaCha a perfect fit for me,” Zammuto said.
